Kong Meng San, established in 1921, is one of the largest monastery in Singapore. In the monastery, you can visit and worship at the Hall of Great Compassion, Hall of Precepts, Hall of Great Strength, Hall of Universal Brightness and Pagoda of 10,000 Buddhas.
When I visit Kong Meng San, I find the monastery rather peaceful. I say my little prayers at the various Halls and enjoy the silence around me.
When visiting the monastery, one should wear clothes that covers shoulders and knees as well. Please talk softly and switch your mobile phone to silent mode.
